The International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) has opened applications for the 2026 IAPCO & NZICC Emerging Leaders Programme – APAC, continuing its leadership development initiative for emerging professionals across the Asia-Pacific meetings industry.
Delivered in partnership with the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC), the programme enters its third year and offers six online leadership modules covering governance, stakeholder management, financial strategy, communication and decision-making. The programme is open to employees of IAPCO member companies across Asia-Pacific with approximately three to five years of industry experience.
One participant will receive the Jan Tonkin Scholarship, providing the opportunity to attend the IAPCO Annual Meeting & General Assembly 2027 in Mumbai, with complimentary registration, accommodation and return flights.
IAPCO CEO Martin Boyle said developing future leaders remains a strategic priority for the association, adding that partnerships with organisations such as NZICC are helping build long-term leadership capability across the global meetings industry.
Applications close on 15 July 2026.
