FRANKFURT — IMEX Frankfurt 2026 expanded its use of AI-powered session summaries across the show’s education programme through a partnership with event technology platform Snapsight.

The technology was deployed across multiple education theatres throughout the event, generating real-time summaries, key takeaways, and discussion highlights from live sessions. Attendees were able to access summaries digitally during presentations and revisit them after sessions concluded.

The summaries were available across theatres including the People & Planet Theatre, Flow Theatre, Evolve Theatre, Impact Zone, and Research Pod. The system used live audio transcription and artificial intelligence to convert discussions into searchable content and structured summaries.

The deployment represented one of the largest uses of the technology at IMEX to date. The platform supports more than 200 sessions throughout the event, alongside demonstrations of new AI content tools and live translation capabilities.

Snapsight was first introduced by Singapore-based event technology company Gevme in 2024 and has since been deployed across major conferences and exhibitions. The platform was developed to address challenges around content retention, concurrent sessions, and post-event knowledge sharing.

Discussions around artificial intelligence featured prominently throughout IMEX Frankfurt this year, with organisers, technology providers, and event professionals exploring practical applications of AI within event operations, attendee engagement, and content management. The use of live session summarisation drew particular attention as organisers examined ways to make large education programmes more accessible and searchable for participants.
