Phuket has secured hosting rights for three international conferences in 2026, following bids supported by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB). The wins span three major agendas shaping global association meetings: sustainability, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and wellness.
The GSTC2026 Global Sustainable Tourism Conference will take place 21–24 April 2026 at Royal Phuket City Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town. The InterPride General Meeting & World Conference will run 29 October–1 November 2026, with a pre-conference on 28 October, hosted at Duangjitt Resort & Spa. The calendar will close with the Global Wellness Summit, scheduled for 10–13 November 2026 in Phuket.
At a press briefing in Bangkok, TCEB positioned Phuket as a flagship example of its Thai MICE City approach, using business events to support city branding and economic diversification. Factors cited behind the wins included Phuket’s sustainable tourism track record and wellness offerings, alongside national policy alignment. Thailand’s marriage equality law was also cited among supportive factors for hosting InterPride.
