SINGAPORE — Senior business leaders, investors and stakeholders from Saudi Arabia and Singapore gathered at the Saudi-Singapore Leadership Forum on 22 September, highlighting growing commercial engagement between the two countries and opportunities linked to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Organised as part of the Saudi National Day Celebration 2026 by the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Singapore, with support from the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), the forum was held under the theme “From Celebration to Collaboration.”

Discussions focused on Saudi Vision 2030, investment opportunities, and the next phase of Saudi-Singapore business cooperation. Speakers included the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr Shahzad Nasim, Chairman of the Saudi-Singapore Business Council, and representatives involved in Saudi investment promotion.

The forum also featured a Business and Investment Showcase and concluded with a Saudi National Day dinner reception.

The event builds on increasingly structured private-sector engagement between the two countries. In 2023, SBF signed agreements with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment and the Federation of Saudi Chambers, helping establish the Saudi-Singapore Business Council as a platform for business dialogue and collaboration.

For associations and business chambers, the developing relationship shows how bilateral councils and federations can translate government-to-government ties into business connections, investment opportunities, and longer-term private-sector partnerships.
