Dubai Launches UAE’s First Green Innovation District at Expo City

Dubai has launched the UAE’s first Green Innovation District at Expo City Dubai, marking a new initiative to support the country’s green economy, industrial diversification, and net-zero objectives. The district was announced on November 25, 2025, through a collaboration between the Ministry of Economy and Tourism and Expo City Dubai. Vienna Joins IAPCO Destination Partner Programme

The International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) has confirmed a new two-year Destination Partnership with Meeting Destination Vienna, represented by the Vienna Convention Bureau. The agreement is set to begin at the start of 2026 and brings Vienna into IAPCO’s Destination Partner programme, which connects selected convention bureaux with IAPCO and its accredited professional congress organisers (PCOs). Global Policy Forum to Debut in Washington, D.C. in May 2026

MAD Event Management, the Exhibitions & Conferences Alliance (ECA), and UFI have announced the launch of the Global Policy Forum, a new international dialogue platform focused on public policy issues affecting the business events and exhibitions industry. The inaugural Global Policy Forum will take place on May 29, 2026, at the Army & Navy Club in Washington, D.C.
